Collaborative Printmaking

A Project by Israel Campos

The Studio

Chayote Press is a printmaking studio located in the Pico Union neighborhood of Los Angeles. The studio was started by master printmaker Israel Campos to service artists in South LA. The objective of Chayote Press is to provide artists with the studio space to create original fine art editions. Classes are offered to artists who are interested in print media. Artists are encouraged to experiment with traditional and contemporary printmaking techniques. The collaborative nature of the printing process allows the artists to develop their projects and ideas under the mentorship of the master printmaker.
