Prompt
The Mexican cultural elements that are permanently embedded into L.A. give the city it’s defining feature. These elements do not remain frozen in time and instead continue to evolve and be influenced by the American culture that envelops it.
The heirs of both cultures are called Chicanos. The art, music, literature, food, films and content they make is Chicano Culture. The irreversible influence of both cultures guides their work and their passion. The members of this portfolio are asked to reflect on the influence of American and Mexican culture in their work. Create a piece that exemplifies the influences of both cultures.
